Premierement, Pucon :
Ville au bord d'un lac, plage de sable noir. Jusque la tout est fait pour plaire. Mais...
Mais c'est une ville super touritique, super cher, et les gens assayent de te prendre ton argent par tout les moyens :
Excursions super cher (8000 .- pesos par une agence et 500 .- avec les bus publiques. Mais cela personne ne te le dit ! Personne ne te dit qu'il y a des bus publiques pour aller aux bains thermaux.)
Pucon, ville aussi au pied d'un des volcans les plus actif du monde, le Volcan Villarica - env. 2800 m., alors que la ville est a seulement 280 m. La simple vue de la plage de sable noir sous le soleil, avec sur le fond le volcan eternelement enneige crachant continnuellement de la fumee, est impressionnante.
Volcan que j'ai gravis avec un agence de tourisme (chose obligatoire d'ailleures), et qui fut une experience innoubliable. La montee dans les roches volcaniques, puis dans la neige et la glace pour enfin arriver au sommet, au bord du cratere ou de la fumme s'en degage continnuelement. Ici la roche est chaude, coloree par le soufre, et la neige n'y tient pas...
Et Santiago :
La capital du Chili est une grande ville...
Rien de vraiment special, ville occidentalisee avec son metro, ses bus, ses voitures, ses soirees de tout genre (pour ca, la vie nocturne n'est pas trop mal), ses grattes-ciels, sa pollution, ses restos, la chaleur...
Le tout, avec sur le fond la Cordiliere de Andes et les sommets enneiges.
Malgre son million et demi d'habitants, ville sympa.

First of all, Pucon :
Town next to a lake, black sand beach. So far, everything is made to make me happy. But...
But it's a very turitic town, very expencive, and everyone there try to get your money by anyway they find:
Excursions very expensive (8000 .- pesos by a agency and 500 .- with public transport. But no one tell you that! No one tell you that there is plublic buses to go to the thermal bath.)
Pucon, this is as well a town close to one of the most actif valcano in the world, the Volcano Villarica - around 2800 m., and the town is only at 280 m. Only the wiew of the black sand beach under the sun, with at the back the volcano eternelly snowed from where smog continually goes away, is impressive.
Valcano that i have climbed with an agency (we don't have the choice), and that was an unforgetable experience. Going up on the volcanic rocks, and then on the snow and ice to finally arrive at the edge of the crater, from where lots of smog appear. Here the rocks are hot, colored by eruption. The snow cannot stay...
And Santiago :
The capital of Chili is a big city...
Nothing really special, occidental town whit his underground, his buses, his cars, his night out (for that this is not to bad), his skyscraper - high buildings !, his pollution, his restaurants, and the warm weather...
All of that, with at the back the Cordiliera de los Andes and his snowed summits.
Althought his one and a half millons people, nice town. |
