Et bien voila. Moi qui pensait trouver une argentine originale en sortant des sentiers touristique, je n'ai pas ete decu.
1° Sarmiento :
Ville a environ 150 km. de Comodoro a l'interieur des terres. Entre deux, rien que des pompes a petrol et la pampa. Ici c'est la region du petrol (l'Argentine est independante en petrol) et du vent. Pas d'arbres, mais du sable qui s'envole a chaque bourasque de vent, du sable de partout, terrible. Et le soleil ! Il tape fort, meme tres fort.
A Sarmiento, une oasis dans la pampa situe entre deux lacs et une riviere (les truites y abondent, les pieces d'un kilo ne sont pas rares) ou vivent environ 10000 personnes, la paix regne. Le calme d'une ville sans touriste (ou si peu qu'on ne les vois pas) ou vivent les Gauchos et autres travailleurs du petrol. Une ville ou les gens sont heureux de voir des nouvelles tetes, une ville ou les gens sont ouverts et sympatiques. Enfin une vrais ville d'Argentine.
2° El Bosque Petrificado - La valee lunaire :
A 35 km. de Sarmeinto, dans un decors desertique, d'ou le nom de valee lunaire, Une foret petrifiee s'etale. Une vision mystique que de voir ces arbres d'environ 60 millions d'annees petrifies. Ici tout est calme, le temps s'est arrete le jour ou un grand cataclysme a tout arracher, tout tuer. C'etait l'epoque des dinosaures, de la vegetation luxuriante et soudain, ca c'est stopper... Vraiment magique.
On y trouve, dans la region, plein de restes de dinosaures (Diplodocus, ....) ainsi que des vestiges de populations ancestrales. Interessant.
3° Rio Mayo et la fameuse route 40 :
Encore plus loin que Sarmiento, a 150 km. de plus dans les terres, Rio Mayo. Village de 2700 habitants dans la pampa, au carrefour des routes pour le Chili et de la route 40. Route (enfin une piste de calloux) qui longe les Andes du nord au sud.
Il n'y a rien. Le soleil, la pampa, le vent, le sable qui vole (horrible !!!) Cette fois je suis vraiment perdu dans l'Argentine.
Mon but etait de passer par la pour descendre en stop la route 40 jusqu'a Perito Moreno, a une bonne centaine de km. de la. Mais...
Mais apres plus de 11 heures a faire du stop sous le soleil, la chaleur, le vent et le sable, rien. Il est passe une 10 de vehicules, des chiens et du sable... Un camion c'est bien arrete, mais il n'allait pas a Perito...
Retour a Comodoro, 4 heures de bus, et une autre route pour le sud. Perito Moreno sera peut-etre sur ma route de retour vers le nord.
Et v'la.

Here he go ! I wanted to find a real piece of Argentina, without tourist, i got it.
1° Sarmiento :
Town at about 150 km. inside the land from Camodoro. Between them, nothing but the Pampa and the petrol (Argentina is independant on petrol and it comes from here), and the wind. No trees, just sand and little plants. Sand that is flying at any time the wind blows, sand everywhere. The sun, Jesus, and the sun is so strong.
Sarmiento, an oasis inside the pampa situated between two lacs and a river (where there is lots of trouts. The one of 1 kg. are not rare), where lives 10000 people, the peace. The peace of a town without tourist (or so few that we don't see them), where live the Gauchos and other worker from the petrol. A town where the people are open and happy to see new faces, a town where the people are friendly. A real town of Argentina.
2° El Bosque Petrificado - The moon vally:
At 35 km. of Sarmeinto, inside a desertic scenery, where comes the name Moon Vally, a petrified forest lie down. That a mystic vision that seeing those trees of 60 millions years having being turn into stone in that scenery. Here everything is quiet, the time has stop the day a big cataclysm had hapenned, a cataclysm that had kill everything. It was the time of the dinausors, of the luxurious plants and trees and then, everything has stopped like this. Magic.
There is here some rest of dinausors (Diplodocus, ....) and as well the rest of ancestral poplulation. Very interesting.
3° Rio Mayo and the famous road 40 :
Even further of Sarmiento, at 150 km. more inside the land, Rio Mayo. Village of 2700 inhabitants inside the pampa, the crossroad of the road to Chili and the road 40. Road (well a pist) that is going from north to south next to the Andes.
There is nothing. The sun, the pampa, the wind and the sand that is flying, horrible !!!. This time i am really lost inside Argentina.
The objectif was to go from here to the south, to Perito Moreno by the road 40, at arround 100 km. But...
But after 11 hours of "highhikking" under the sun, the warm, the wind and the sand, nothing. There passed maybe 10 vehicles, some dogs and lots of sand... A truck had stopped, but was going to Chili, not in Perito...
Back to Comodoro, 4 hours in the bus, and another road to the south. Perito Moreno will maybe be on my road back to the north.
And that's it.
