Some other news from Scotland
   Edinburgh...
   Some trips
   Et le reste quoi ...

Hi ! 'was a long time that i didn't add a news in my internet site. It's because i enjoy myself, no time to be spend in front of a computer.
Everything is fine, althought the weather. I went to many different places in Scotland from the 4 of June. As The Trossachs, Inverness and the Loch Ness, Aviemore, Oban, North Berwick, Arthur Seat in Edinburgh (a hill just in the centre of the town), Stirling and his castle, Peebles, ...

First of all, The Trossachs :
Beautiful wild place in the mountain, at arround 80 km from Edinburgh, in the north of Glasgow, lots of midges (for those who doesn't know what is it, a fly that is 2 mm big and that bites. Much more painfull than a mosquito) and the bad weather as usual. We were, me and 3 other friends from the school, for 2 nights in Calander, and from this place, went around to Loch Katerine, Loch Lomond, and many others. But the rain, as usual, was with us. And this time it was really an heavy rain.

Pitlochry, Aviemore, Inverness and Loch Ness, Oban...
It was a nice week-end, we left on Friday and went back on Sunday. Nothing special to write althought that we slept in B & B and that we lost a lot of money, around 50.- CHF per night per person... :-( But everything was fine.

Edinburgh, North Berwick, Peebles, Arthur Seat...
Well, here there much more to write.
Fisrt of all, i found a job and i'm working as a kind of kitchen porters in an hospital for Ederly people. I'm not really enjoying myself, but at least i hearn money and work with Scottish people ( £ 65.06 per week for twelve and a half hours, not to bad). It is enough to pay my room.
The weather is very changeable. It could be 20 degres and sunny but, 30 minutes later, 15 degres, rainy and windy (and this is more likely). They call it summer ! Anyway, you get used to.
From Arthur Seat you've got a marvellous view to all Edinburgh, very nice... Peebles, little town in the south of Edinburgh, from where i went for a walk through forest and hill until the top of the Dun Rig. Nice, the forest look like our in Switzerland at the altitude of 1500 - 2000 m. Lots of beautiful flowers and birds as well.
Last week-end we went to North Berwick and the Tantallon Castle, in the east of Edinburgh, nothing special. We visited, as well, the brand new Falkirk-Wheel (an incredible lift boat on a canal. i don't think i'm able to explain it.) just have a look at ( http://www.falkirk-wheel.com/falkirk-wheel/wheel.htm )
